I HAVE A GRANDSON about 2yrs and 7 months. Sometime ago he broke a radio button on my dashboard. It is no big deal to me, because I do not even listen to the radio, prefering CD's. So one evening I was giving him a ride in the car in circles on a cul-de-sac in front of his house. It was dark and no traffic about , so he was sitting in front with a seatbelt on. Suddenly he noticed the broken button.. He said, "Grandma, the button broke. You broke it Grandma," pointing his little finger at me. "No, I said. Don't you remember, you broke it Luke?" "No, Grandma, you broke it, you broke it." Well, we finally left the car, went inside the house and told my son-in-law and daughter about what had happened. I asked My grandson in front of them, "Who broke the button, Luke?" "You did Grandma", he answered. His parents chided him, so he quickly changed his answer. " I know," HE SAID WITH A SIGH, " The cookie monster did it!" We had a big laugh, but we knew, Luke is smarter than we think or thought. He never admitted guilt just as Adam said to God in the Garden of Eden, "The woman you (GOD) gave me, did give me of the apple to eat." Oh Luke, at your young age, you have proven, we are born with a sin nature. But you are ok, until you reach the age of accountability. Jesus will be there, waiting on you.

I have been interested in the Bible for many years. I have been saved by Jesus Christ since the age of eleven. I am now sixty-seven. I did not study the Bible until the birth of my Downs Syndrome son, Geraldo, when I was thirty-five. Only in my LORD could I find comfort and consolation. So, I pray there are like minded souls out there. Leave a comment, no matter if you have positive or negative thoughts about what you read.
